The problem
A team that works on social media and in Google Drive needs to publish on its own site without writing code or learning an admin panel.
What I did
- An editorial workflow that lives in Google Drive: upload a video interview and the draft comes back transcribed and written; moving the document to the Publish folder puts it on the site.
- A Next.js site with content versioned in Git, no CMS or database, and an accessibility pass against WCAG 2.1 AA, because some of the team use screen readers.
- Corrections from the same document: a story keeps its original date and, if the headline changes, the old URL redirects to the new one.
The result
The team publishes and corrects its stories from its own Google Docs, without touching code.
