About This Space
Who I Am
I’m Ramón Zamora, a researcher, journalist, and digital strategist passionate about the intersection of tech, creativity, and civics. I’ve spent years working in digital transformation, media innovation, and qualitative research, supporting organizations in refining their engagement strategies and designing thoughtful storytelling approaches.
I’ve led projects preserving independent journalism, developed training programs for journalists and researchers, and built digital tools that bridge media, technology, and civic engagement. This space is where I share my insights, experiments, and explorations.
What You’ll Find Here
This isn’t a typical newsletter asking you to subscribe. Instead, it’s a curated space where I document ideas, workflows, and reflections on media, technology, and research. Expect:
Writings – Essays, academic work, and opinion pieces on journalism, civic engagement, and digital culture.
Digital Projects – A behind-the-scenes look at my work, from sentiment analysis workflows to qualitative coding experiments and media preservation initiatives.
Daily Pulse – A daily roundup of news stories that caught my attention—insights that shape conversations on tech, media, and civic life.
Ideas in Motion – Reviews of books, articles, and courses that have sparked new interests or influenced my work.
If any of this resonates with you, feel free to follow along. No pressure—this is more of a public notebook than a call for subscriptions.
